Godly Notes is developed by Geniustechnologie. This privacy policy applies to the Godly Notes mobile application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
We do not collect any personal data. Godly Notes operates entirely on your device without connecting to any external server. Specifically, we do not:

Godly Notes requests the following device permissions:

You can deny any permission and continue using the rest of the app without limitation. Permissions can be changed at any time in your device Settings.
When you choose to back up or export your notes, the following happens:

Godly Notes does not integrate with, send data to, or receive data from any third-party service. Specifically:
All features of the app work offline without any internet connection.
We do not share your data with anyone, for any reason, ever. Your notes, recordings, tags, and preferences are never transmitted outside your device. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Your data exists only on your device for as long as the app is installed. We do not retain any copy of your data on any server because we never receive it in the first place.
To permanently delete all your data:
Because we never have a copy of your data, uninstalling the app is the only way to delete it and we cannot assist with data recovery after uninstallation.
Godly Notes does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13 years of age. No account creation, registration, or personal information is required to use the app. The app is suitable for all ages and does not contain content inappropriate for children.
Your data is protected by your device's built-in security measures, including the app sandbox that prevents other apps from accessing Godly Notes data. Because your data never leaves your device, there is no risk of server-side data breaches or unauthorized remote access to your information.
Godly Notes is available in English and French. Since all data is stored locally on your device, it is subject only to the data protection laws of your jurisdiction. No data crosses international borders because no data is ever transmitted.
For users in the European Economic Area: Godly Notes does not process personal data on any server. All data processing occurs locally on your device under your direct control. As such, no data is processed by us as a data controller, and the GDPR's provisions on data processing by controllers do not apply to us. Your rights under GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, portability) are fully exercised through your device — you have complete control over your data at all times.
For California residents: Godly Notes does not "sell" personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act because we do not collect, store, or have access to any personal information. There is no personal information to sell, share, or disclose.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
